Can I share something with you?
The enemy is the father of lies so every attack he uses is centered in making us believe a lie. The biggest way we can remain vigilant against this is to meditate on and rehearse the truth.
Whenever a lie pops in my head about my future or my value, I quickly call the lie subject to the truth of God’s word such as...
•God’s thoughts towards me are good and not evil;
•He loves me with an everlasting love;
•It is his will that I prosper and be in good health;
•Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
We mess up when we allow the lie to have it’s way in our minds. When feelings of fear, anxiety, and rejection start to rise within me, I ask myself “What lie have I believed?”
(2 Cor. 10:5) “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
